When you give the lives of students and families are changed forever!

As the year comes to a close, you have one final opportunity to make a lasting difference. Your gift tonight helps propel our mission forward ensuring every student we serve has access to clean clothing, essential hygiene items, and the dignity they deserve. Your generosity today allows us to step into the new year ready to serve, ready to respond, and ready to show up for those who need us most.

Thank you for being part of this life-changing work. 💚

At The Giving Closet Project, our team shows up—every single day—to lift that weight. But behind every neatly packed clothing bundle, every emergency response, and every moment of restored dignity, there are real operational costs that keep our mission moving. The truth is simple:We can only serve students daily if our operations are funded daily.

💡 What It Really Costs to Keep GCP Going

The Giving Closet is so much more than just a closet. There is so much logistics, development, and planning that go into sustaining and running GCP on a daily basis.

🏢 Operational Infrastructure

👕 Clothing & Hygiene Distribution Costs

🚚 Transportation & Delivery

👥 Staffing & Service Coordination

🎯 TOTAL REALITY OF DAILY OPERATIONS

It takes roughly $8,000–$12,000 a month to keep The Giving Closet Project running smoothly.

And every dollar ensures a child receives exactly what they need—with dignity, care, and compassion.

✨ Why Your Daily Gift Matters

When donors give consistently—even $1, $3, $5, or $10 a day—it provides the reliable, predictable support that ensures:

  • We never run out of basic necessities
  • Urgent requests are filled within hours, not weeks
  • Students always receive items that fit and meet their needs
  • Staff can coordinate services with accuracy and care
  • Our doors stay open and our shelves stay full

Your daily support doesn’t just fund operations—

it funds dignity, confidence, and the belief that every child deserves to be seen and cared for.

Changes Are Coming:

Beginning January 1, 2026, changes to federal tax policy are expected to reduce the tax advantages many individuals and businesses currently receive for charitable giving. Several provisions that were expanded or adjusted in recent years are set to expire, which may impact how much donors can deduct — and how strategic year-end giving can be.
While tax laws can be complex, one thing is clear: 2025 may be one of the last years donors can fully maximize the charitable giving benefits they’ve come to rely on. For many households and businesses, making contributions before the end of 2025 offers greater flexibility, stronger deductions, and clearer planning advantages than waiting.
